Beatrice graduated from Nottingham Trent University with First Class Honours in Textile Design. Her work has a distinctive design style and strong sustainable focus, which has been recognised by the likes of: The Bradford Textile Society and John Lewis.  

More recently, however, her skills in design, fabric embellishment and material awareness have proven significant in her role as a technician in children’s theatre. Within this role she has been able to work effectively on costume tasks as well as interior styling and set dressing.

Furthermore her contributions to ‘Hullabaloo in the Park’ and ‘Hulloween’ have showcased her unique and dedicated design approach with Beatrice making and installing various elements for these events.  

Beatrice’s proactive approach has enabled her to develop skills in curation, supporting with the set-up of exhibitions like ‘Tea Break for the Diamond Gardener’ and ‘Thread Counts’ at Redcar Palace. She has also led textile workshops for children and adults, and had her work exhibited in public spaces.
