Lucy Olivia graduated from The Northern School of Art with a BA(Hons) in Acting for Stage and Screen in June 2023. During her time there she completed modules such as Clowning, Classical, Puppetry, Radio and more.
Since graduating Lucy has worked on a number of projects including working with Periplum on their site specific show ‘North Sea Sirens’ and installation piece ‘Spiral Shores’, working alongside ‘I. Nakala’ on her project ‘WASTE’ funded by ARC’s Create New Work project, as well puppeteering for festivals such as South Tyneside Fest and SIRF.
Lucy also runs her own partnership company; ‘Imagination Tails’ with illustrator Katie Bullas. Imagination Tails is a children’s creative company who have just released their first book ‘Spook and the Shadow’. As well as writing stories they do exhibitions, workshops, murals and performances.
Lucy has also facilitated a range of projects for both children and adults. As well as working many outdoor festivals from Hullaballoo in The Park, SIRF, Between the Tides, MAW, Redcar Kite Festival, etc.
Furthermore, Lucy has worked with TVNC as their Network Builder, Tees Women’s Poets as their Content Creators Club Producer and The Auxiliary as their Production Assistant for MAW24.
