Mia Brannigan is a camera operator, camera assistant and runner based in Teesside.
After beginning as a runner for a local production company, Smoggie Productions, she has developed her skills and has recently taken on the position of DOP for their latest feature film. She has managed to build up her creative network over the past three years working with a number of local production companies on short and feature length films.
Mia has a passion for film and is always looking for ways to be creative. She is particularly interested in the camera department but also enjoys many different aspects of the production process too.
Mia has also assisted as a camera trainee for the BBC Children’s show The Dumping Ground.
She currently works as the Production Apprentice at BBC Radio Tees, gaining experience across numerous departments.
